From 2005-2012, Ann represented the Professional Standards Commission in teacher certification cases.  Ann settled hundreds of cases, and took many through the Administrative Procedure Act, starting at a hearing at the Office of State Administrative Hearings and culminating in an appeal to the Georgia Court of Appeals.  Ann received a favorable ruling in Professional Standards Commission v. Adams from the Court of Appeals.  Ann also represented the Board of Regents and the Georgia Non-Public Post Secondary Education Commission.

Ann has also negotiated accommodations for children with medical issues and learning differences in the public schools.  Ann is familiar with the requirements for a 504 plan and an IEP and is available to help parents determine and obtain the best help possible for their children.
